UPDATE … THE SURVEY WILL CLOSE ON SATURDAY 3RD MARCH 2018

This survey is looking at your experiences of Pathological Demand Avoidance, a profile on the Autism Spectrum, as well as your experiences of local services.

This survey is relevant for all …. individuals with PDA, parents, carers, partners … and for those that feel PDA is the best ‘fit’ regardless of diagnosis… for those in the UK and overseas … and for professionals (we’re really keen to have any many clinicians involved as possible so pls do forward on the link to anyone who is involved with you or your child)

  • For families, it looks at health, education and family life. (You are welcome to complete the survey more than once if it is relevant to more than one person in your family). It may take around 10-15 minutes to complete.
  • For individuals with autism/PDA, some of whom like to be called PDAers and partners it will take about 5 minutes.
  • For professionals it will take about 5 minutes.

The results will inform the PDA Society on the need for research and give a picture of the state of understanding across the UK and overseas. They will be reported anonymously.

Initial findings will hopefully be shared at the PDA Society Conference on the 18th April 2018, with a full report ready in time for PDA Action Day on 15th May 2018.

To help us collate as much data as possible please do share this post, or a link to the survey, via relevant facebook groups, on twitter, to local charities, national charities, local support groups, professionals with an interest in PDA and those involved with supporting an individual with PDA.

Thank you for taking the time to complete and share this survey.
